Apples iPhone Premium Pricing, Is the Juice Worth the Squeeze?

Many of you probably guessed it right, “he is gonna start off with Apple, he is a fanboy”. But this medium is not only going to serve to tell you that you should get an iPhone, but it also will give you a reason as to why you can buy one and if it is worth the steep cost its flagship is going for.

Apple is currently selling the iPhone 13 for $799, 13 Pro for $999, and the 13 Pro Max for $1,099, but is it really worth the price? . As a proud owner of an iPhone can safely say yes! yes it is worth it! The average consumer may tell you their reason for buying an iPhone and it probably would sound something like this: ” I bought it because it takes great pictures ” or ” I bought it because all my friends have an iPhone and we use iMessage and Facetime a lot “. This is definitely true but there are other justifiable reasons as to why you should buy one and why it is worth it.

The iPhone 13 has one of the best and fastest processors there is in the game, no matter how many megapixels their competitors state to have over them, it has been leading the way with image quality at a standard 12 megapixels due to how terrific their A15 processing chip works and not only that, it now comes with new features such as photographic styles and cinematic modes. Yes, the cinematic mode may be just an improved portrait mode for videos but even when compared to competitors who have similar features, the iPhone is still in a class of its own. This A15 chip not only works for camera optimization but also gaming purposes, improves battery life & maximization including fast charging capabilities and user efficiency. The phone now is water-resistant, yes people are water resistant! NOT WATERPROOF!, people do tend to misunderstand the difference between them both.

The next reason for buying an iPhone is its durability & design! Even though it has a sleek design that may seem fragile it is still capable of withstanding falls, hits, and also internal damage. It does have a ceramic shield that does facilitate drop protection The iPhones also do tend to last for 4-5 years without any major problems as other phones. Now many of you are probably thinking “why not just buy a cheaper phone from somewhere else?” Now don’t get me wrong, we cannot necessarily tell how deep everyone’s pocket run but let’s be honest if you were to purchase a “cheaper phone” do you honestly think in the long run it will be worth it? . Let’s say you bought a cheaper phone for $200- $300 USD, how many times do you think you would have to replace that phone due to how quickly it degrades because it was manufactured with cheap materials? You probably would have replaced the phone at least 2-3 times or have had an issue with it and it made you feel as if you were living in the early 2000s with how slow it’s operating.

iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max

You may have heard friends or family say they would never get an iPhone because it is too costly and always would make an analogy to several Samsung phones but I can assure you, they are almost equivalent in price, some might even say the Samsung phone cost more, but due to indifferences or social hierarchy when it comes on to owning a premium device, we all tend to take the side of the phone we currently own and undermine any facts or advice on the next upgrade. After all everyone is entitled to their own opinion and decisions. Overall I do believe phones that tend to have a high cost are worth it! no matter the brand, it all comes down to the user’s preference.

Below you can see a price comparison and specs for both Apple and Samsung since they are two leaders in sales as it relates to premium devices.

Next week’s topic will be Samsung! We will be discussing how this major South Korean-based company is taking the world by storm!

See you then!
